Royal Enfield’s Next Gear: A ₹1,225 Crore Plant in Andhra Pradesh

Eicher Motors Ltd. (EML) has formally approved a ₹1,225 crore investment to begin Phase I construction of a new greenfield manufacturing plant in Tada, Andhra Pradesh.

The strategic expansion will complement Royal Enfield's existing production network in Tamil Nadu, adding an annual production capacity of 4.5 lakh motorcycles. Scheduled for completion during FY2029-30, the facility reinforces EML’s commitment to scaling operations and meeting projected long-term demand.
