Mangalagiri Station’s ₹12.5Cr Makeover Ready for Launch

On July 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually dedicate the redeveloped Mangalagiri Railway Station to the nation, marking a major milestone under the Centre’s Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). Upgraded at a cost of ₹12.5 crore under the Guntur Division, the station features a new second-entry facility, modern waiting halls, a VIP lounge, and an enhanced facade. Key improvements include new platform shelters, dedicated parking, and advanced accessibility features such as lifts, ramps, and tactile pathways. This modernization project aims to significantly elevate passenger comfort, safety, and operational efficiency while preserving the station's distinct identity.
