SR WR Power Transmission, acquired from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), includes a 765 kV transmission line between Karnataka and Maharashtra, designed to strengthen inter-regional connectivity and integrate renewable energy from the southern region, particularly Bidar Power Station (PS).

As of September 30, POWERGRID operates 286 substations and over 1,80,864 circuit kilometres of transmission lines with a total transformation capacity of 5,81,831 MVA. The company maintains system availability above 99.80%, leveraging advanced digital tools and automation technologies to ensure reliable and efficient grid management.
