iNVERGY India Charges Ahead with New ₹200 Cr BESS Giga Factory

iNVERGY India has inaugurated a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Giga Factory in Dasna, Uttar Pradesh, strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities in the rapidly growing energy storage sector.

Spread across approximately 217,000 sq. ft. of fully automated production space, the facility is among India’s largest dedicated plants for energy storage system manufacturing. The factory has an annual production capacity of 3 GWh and will manufacture advanced BESS units, LiFePO4 battery packs, solar inverters, and integrated energy storage solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications.

The facility is equipped with AI-enabled Battery Management Systems (BMS), IoT-based monitoring technologies, and automated production lines designed to enhance precision, safety, and operational reliability. Developed with an investment of ₹200 crore, the project supports India’s ongoing efforts to modernise its power grid, expand renewable energy integration, and reduce reliance on imported energy storage technologies.

The inauguration marks a key milestone in iNVERGY India’s growth strategy under its parent company, GP Eco Solutions India, further strengthening its presence in the country’s expanding clean energy and energy storage ecosystem.
