ACME Solar Commissions First Phase of 300 MW Bikaner Project

ACME Solar Holdings has successfully commissioned the initial 52.5 MW phase of its 300 MW ACME Sikar Solar Power Project, located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. This milestone raises the company's total operational capacity to 2,592.5 MW, up from 2,540 MW.

Strategically situated in a region known for high solar irradiation, the Sikar project is poised to play a vital role in advancing India’s renewable energy goals. Spanning 1,300 acres, the project will eventually contribute 300 MW of clean energy, with future phases scheduled to come online in due course.

Electricity generated from the project is collected at inverter stations and transmitted to the Bikaner-II grid via a dedicated 220 kV single-circuit transmission line. Once fully commissioned, the plant is expected to generate approximately 780 million units of green electricity annually. The energy produced will be sold through power exchanges on a merchant basis, maximizing commercial opportunities.

The project is financed by PFC Ltd.

ACME Solar Holdings, a leading integrated renewable energy company, currently has a diversified portfolio of 6,970 MW across solar, wind, FDRE (Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy), and hybrid assets. With this commissioning, 2,592.5 MW is now operational, while 4,377.5 MW remains under development.
