CleanMax x Shell: A 30 MW Leap for India’s Energy Transition

Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions has entered into a partnership with Shell India to supply renewable energy from hybrid wind-solar projects across Gujarat and Karnataka, with a combined capacity of around 30 MW.

The collaboration is aimed at supporting Shell’s transition toward lower-carbon operations across multiple assets. In Gujarat, CleanMax is developing a 16.83 MW hybrid project, comprising 6.93 MWp of solar and 9.90 MW of wind capacity. Structured under the group-captive model, the project will supply clean power to Shell’s LNG terminal at Hazira, ensuring reliable energy for its high-consumption operations.

In Karnataka, the company is developing a 13.2 MW hybrid project, which includes 9.9 MWp of solar capacity in Jagalur and 3.3 MW of wind capacity in Honawad. This facility will cater to the Shell Technology Centre in Bengaluru, a major global innovation hub focused on advanced engineering and future energy solutions.

Both companies will jointly invest in these projects, underscoring their commitment to sustainability, improved energy efficiency, and the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure in India.
