Star Power, Neuberg Expertise: A New Era for Maharashtra Diagnostics

Neuberg Diagnostics has entered into a strategic joint venture with Maharashtra-based Star Imaging to establish a statewide network of integrated diagnostic centres. This collaboration aims to bring together radiology, pathology, wellness, and genomics under one roof—enhancing diagnostic accuracy, reducing turnaround times, and improving overall patient care.

The joint venture will initially focus on major urban centres such as Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, and Aurangabad, with multiple new centres planned over the next two years. Neuberg Diagnostics, headquartered in Chennai, emphasized the importance of bridging the long-standing gap between radiology and pathology. Chairman and Managing Director Dr. GSK Velu noted that the initiative supports Neuberg’s mission to deliver high-quality, affordable diagnostic services.

This partnership is poised to drive infrastructure development, long-term healthcare investment, and wider access to advanced diagnostics across Maharashtra. Star Imaging Director Ashish Atre highlighted the venture’s strategic vision to deliver faster, more integrated diagnostic insights—paving the way for early disease detection and precision treatment.

Rooted in a patient-centric approach, the model aims to improve clinical outcomes and expand access to cutting-edge diagnostics, particularly in underserved regions. The collaboration underscores a broader shift in healthcare towards multi-modality diagnostics and localized, technology-enabled care delivery.
