Samridh Bio Energy has entered into a tripartite agreement with GAIL and Torrent Gas under the CBG-CGD Synchronisation Scheme. The signing ceremony, held at GAIL’s Lucknow office, was attended by Mr. Anup Maheshwari from CEID Consultants, Samridh Bio Energy Directors Ashwani Chib and Ashu Chib, GAIL's General Manager (UP) Anupam Gangopadhyay, Deputy General Manager A.K. Verma, and key representatives from Torrent Gas.
Under this agreement, Samridh Bio Energy will produce 12 tons per day (tpd) of compressed biogas (CBG). GAIL will facilitate its seamless supply, while Torrent Gas will integrate it into its city gas distribution (CGD) network for efficient consumer distribution.
The Samridh Bio Energy and Organics plant, currently under development, is being constructed by CEID Consultants and Engineering as the EPC partner. Designed to produce 30,000 cubic meters of biogas per day—yielding 12 tpd of CBG after purification—the plant incorporates advanced technology to ensure smooth implementation while maintaining high environmental and safety standards.
