Fueling the Future: The ONGC-BP Western Offshore Expansion

State-run ONGC has leveled up its partnership with global energy giant BP, signing a new technical services contract to boost production in India's Western Offshore Basin. Expanding well beyond their existing work at the Mumbai High field, this collaboration positions BP as the Technical Services Provider (TSP) for ONGC’s most prolific region—spanning 43 offshore blocks. By leveraging BP’s global technical expertise, the partnership aims to maximize efficiency and unlock deeper potential from some of India’s largest mature hydrocarbon assets.
