Black Gold Bonanza: NCC's ₹6,829 Cr. Win in Jharkhand

NCC Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) for the extraction and transportation of overburden (OB) and coal at the Amrapali Open Cast Project (OCP) in the Chandragupt Area of Jharkhand.

The project scope involves hiring Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) for the removal of several million cubic metres of overburden, extraction of 233.325 million tonnes (MT) of coal, and its transportation to the Shivpur siding and surface stockyard. Additionally, 139.995 MT of coal will be loaded into wagons at Shivpur siding.

The contract, valued at approximately ₹6,828.94 crore, will span seven years of production, following a one-year development phase.
