Patel Engineering Powers Up Arunachal: ₹711 Cr Hydropower Win

Patel Engineering Ltd. (PEL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) for the execution of the 240 MW HEO Hydropower Project in Arunachal Pradesh. The project, valued at ₹711.29 crore, will be developed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis.

Previously declared the lowest bidder (L1), PEL will undertake the project located in the Shi Yomi district, with a scheduled completion timeline of 44 months.

The scope of work includes civil construction and related infrastructure, along with the testing and commissioning of hydro-mechanical equipment. The project aims to ensure the successful operation and performance of all generating units upon completion.
