EMS Ltd. Secures Major ₹183.81 Crore Fatehpur Sewerage Project

EMS Ltd., a multi-disciplinary EPC firm headquartered in Delhi, has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam for the implementation of a comprehensive sewerage and sewage treatment scheme in Zone-I of Fatehpur Nagar Palika Parishad, under the AMRUT 2.0 mission.

The project scope includes the construction of an 18 MLD capacity sewage treatment plant (STP) on a modular basis, a main pumping station (MPS) with a capacity of 47 MLD, and an intermediate pumping station (IPS) using the well sinking method, designed for an average flow of 18 MLD for the ultimate year. The work also covers all associated electromechanical components, rising mains, and appurtenant infrastructure.

Additional responsibilities involve detailed project investigation and surveys using GIS, soil investigation, hydraulic and structural design, procurement of materials and labor, and complete construction, testing, and commissioning on a turnkey basis.

Financial bids were opened on 17 June 2025, with EMS quoting the lowest bid at Rs 183.81 crore.
