The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has invited bids for the construction of a 100 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) and a 100 MLD main pumping station (MPS), along with a Bio-CNG plant, at Dhanwapur, Gurugram.
The project scope includes:
Construction of the STP based on Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) technology, Installation of the Bio-CNG plant
All associated civil, mechanical, and electrical works
The contract includes a completion period of 24 months, followed by a 10-year operations and maintenance (O&M) phase, after a one-year defect liability period (DLP).
Valued at Rs 166.97 crore, the project is aimed at:
Enhancing sewage treatment capacity in Gurugram, Generating renewable energy from waste
Supporting environmental sustainability and urban infrastructure development
The deadline for bid submission is 20 August 2025.
