Spearheaded by prominent leaders—Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma—the Rs 2,300 crore project is set to transform maritime logistics.

With Phase I aiming for a 50-tonne-per-day capacity by January 2027 backed by a Rs 1,200 crore investment, this facility is more than just a milestone for alternative fuels: it is a bold declaration of India’s readiness to lead the world as a clean energy exporter.
