Nitin Gadkari Fast-Tracks Nagpur’s Multi-Crore Urban Makeover

Nagpur’s transport, commercial, and sports landscape is poised for a major transformation following a comprehensive project review by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Emphasizing modernized public amenities, the Minister directed civic bodies to overhaul key transit hubs, including the Ganeshpeth and Mor Bhavan bus stations, and fast-track vital connectivity projects like new flyovers and railway overbridges.

The blueprint also places a heavy emphasis on community wellness and commerce, featuring upgrades to Yashwant Stadium, a new indigenous sports hub at Chitnis Park, a modern textile market, and a dedicated food park at Pardi. Notably, Minister Gadkari balanced development with civic empathy, instructing officials to ensure thorough public land mapping and robust rehabilitation plans for eligible residents prior to any anti-encroachment actions.
