KEI's Sanand Power Play: A ₹1,700Cr Bet on High-Voltage Growth

KEI Industries is scaling up its greenfield cable manufacturing complex in Sanand, Gujarat, with a total capital expenditure of roughly ₹1,450 to ₹1,722 crore. Commercial production of LT and HT cables began in December 2025, and the EHV unit is slated for Q4 FY2026-27. Once fully operational, the plant will produce a wide range of specialized cables—including E-beam, HVDC, and EHV—delivering an estimated ₹5,500–6,000 crore in annual revenue potential while bolstering domestic and export capabilities.
