Malaysia-based Hotayi Electronics, a supply chain partner of global memory chipmaker Micron Technology, will invest around ₹700 crore over the next decade to establish an advanced semiconductor and electronics manufacturing facility at Sanand in Gujarat.
The project recently received a major boost after Harsh Sanghavi handed over the Offer-cum-Allotment (OCA) letter for land allocated at Sanand-II GIDC, according to an official government release.
The Gujarat government has allotted five hectares of land for the proposed facility, which will manufacture advanced DRAM memory modules, solid-state drives (SSDs), server and data-centre memory modules, and automotive electronics products such as LED lighting systems and infotainment modules.
