Foxconn to Increase iPhone Manufacturing in 2025

Foxconn plans to manufacture 25-30 million Apple iPhones in India this year, more than doubling last year's production of 12 million units. This expansion aligns with Apple’s strategy to strengthen its manufacturing presence in India and diversify its supply chain beyond China.

The Taiwanese company has been conducting trial operations at its Bengaluru facility in recent months, signaling rapid progress. Foxconn’s growing presence underscores Apple's increasing commitment to India, where mobile assembly investments are set to rise further.

Currently, Foxconn is evaluating the Bengaluru facility’s capability to meet Apple’s stringent quality standards before transitioning to full-scale production. Once the trial phase is completed, the company will move to the ‘revenue build’ stage, preparing iPhones for market distribution.
