DHL’s ₹50 Cr Push for India’s Semiconductor Future

DHL Group has announced plans to establish India’s inaugural dedicated semiconductor warehouse in Dholera, Gujarat. Positioned to support high-tech manufacturing near Tata Electronics’ upcoming semiconductor fab, the facility represents an initial investment of approximately ₹50 crore and is targeted for launch in 2027.

Vikas Anand, Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain India, noted that the logistics giant could increase investment up to four times by 2030 as customer requirements expand. Drawn from DHL’s existing ₹10,700 crore investment package for India, this move reinforces regional semiconductor clusters and establishes critical supply chain infrastructure for the nation’s rapidly expanding electronics ecosystem.
