BMS Touches Down in Mumbai with New Global Capability Centre

Insurance and reinsurance broker BMS has launched a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Mumbai, establishing a dedicated hub to support its expanding technology, data analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives.

The centre will serve as a strategic extension of BMS’s global operations, providing expertise across broking, technology, analytics, and client services. The company said the facility is designed to drive innovation, strengthen digital capabilities, and support business growth across international markets.

The Mumbai GCC will be led by Managing Director Nipun Mapara, while Sanjeev Poojari will oversee day-to-day operations.

The new centre is expected to play a central role in scaling BMS’s AI-driven transformation efforts by providing access to specialised talent and advanced operational capabilities. EY advised the company on the planning, design, and establishment of the facility.
