AP's Tech Vision Takes Flight: Ratan Tata Innovation Hub Opens

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has inaugurated the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub at Mayuri Tech Park, Mangalagiri, developed in collaboration with Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran. The hub aims to foster a vibrant startup ecosystem by supporting young entrepreneurs with mentorship, infrastructure, and innovation resources.

Operating under a “hub-and-spoke” model, the facility will serve as the central node in Amaravati, with satellite centers planned in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Anantapur, and an additional location. The Chief Minister also announced a visionary plan to establish innovation hubs in all 175 assembly constituencies, creating an inclusive, statewide innovation network.

The launch event featured a Guinness World Record achievement, as the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society registered 1,67,321 innovations and startups within 24 hours—a global first. The official certificate was presented to the Chief Minister during the ceremony.

During his visit, CM Naidu toured startup exhibits and highlighted the hub’s role in preserving the legacy of Ratan Tata, whose values of innovation and giving back to society inspired the initiative. He called on youth to explore opportunities in agritech, education, healthcare, and defense sectors, underscoring the government’s commitment to nurturing next-generation entrepreneurs.
