Aimtron Group Invests ₹100 Crore, Establishes Gujarat Plant

Aimtron Group, a leading player in electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and original design manufacturing (ODM), has launched a wholly-owned subsidiary, Aimtron Mechatronics, in Gujarat, marking a strategic expansion of its domestic manufacturing footprint.

Announced on September 11, the new entity is supported by an initial ₹3 crore capital infusion, approved by Aimtron’s Board. Additionally, the company has mobilised ₹100 crore through the issuance of convertible warrants on a preferential basis to fund future growth.

The upcoming facility will significantly boost Aimtron’s production capacity and is expected to drive job creation in the region. In Phase 1, the plant will generate 250–300 direct jobs, with the workforce expected to scale beyond 1,000 as operations expand. The project will also support approximately 2,500 indirect employment opportunities across supply chains, logistics, and ancillary services.

With this initiative, Aimtron Group aims to solidify its position in India’s rapidly growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem and contribute to the government’s “Make in India” and self-reliance objectives.
