Bharadwaj Park, one of Prayagraj's oldest and most popular public parks, is set to undergo a comprehensive redevelopment after its operation and maintenance were transferred from the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation (PMC) to Prayagraj Smart City Limited (PSCL).
The nearly five-acre park will be upgraded with modern amenities, including a cafeteria, improved landscaping, beautification works, enhanced lighting and other infrastructure improvements. PSCL has already floated tenders for the proposed works, while a private agency will manage the park's day-to-day maintenance under its supervision.
Located near Anand Bhawan at Balson Crossing, the park is a well-known recreational space for residents and visitors. The initiative aims to improve visitor facilities, strengthen long-term maintenance and preserve the park's heritage and green character through professional management.
