Nexus Select Trust Acquires Guwahati’s Galaxy Complex for ₹1,600 Crore

Nexus Select Trust, India’s first listed retail REIT, has expanded into Northeast India by acquiring a 100% stake in Galaxy Infra Creations (GICPL) for ₹1,600 crore. The deal includes the under-construction Galaxy Complex in Beharbari, Guwahati—featuring the 5.16 lakh sq. ft. Nexus Galaxy Mall and a 164-key Hyatt Regency Hotel. The seller will complete construction to agreed specs, after which Nexus will take over operations upon receiving final approvals. Marking its first under-construction venture in the region, Nexus continues its growth trajectory, scaling its portfolio from two malls to 19 assets across India.
