Kitex Garments has introduced its US-based infant and children’s apparel brand “Little Star” to India, marking the company’s foray into the growing kidswear sector in the country after decades as a leading global exporter.
“Indian families are seeking high-quality, safe, and stylish clothing for their children. With Little Star, we aim to meet this demand by delivering American-standard products at affordable prices,” said Sabu M Jacob, Managing Director, Kitex Garments. The company targets Rs1,000 crore in annual revenue from the brand within two to three years.
Kitex is strategically strengthening its domestic presence to reduce export dependency. Little Star will launch initially through major e-commerce platforms before expanding to retail stores, offering apparel for newborns to young children that blends comfort, playful design, and certified skin safety.
