Bid Now: Rs 144 Cr Project to Transform Dibrugarh Stadium

The Public Works Department (PWD), Assam, has invited bids for expanding the seating capacity of the main stadium at the multi-disciplinary sports complex in Khanikar, Dibrugarh district—from 5,000 to 35,000 seats.

The project will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis and involves the planning, design, and construction of a new spectator stand complex, along with associated support services and allied facilities.

The selected contractor will be responsible for securing all necessary pre- and post-construction approvals from relevant statutory authorities. The scope of work also includes conducting a topographical survey, soil investigation, architectural and structural design, preparation of detailed drawings, and integration of required services.

The estimated project cost is Rs 144.44 crore, with a completion timeline of 24 months.

The deadline for bid submission is 30 June 2025.
