NBCC India is set to begin the next major phase of the Netaji Nagar GPRA colony redevelopment, with work commencing on the relaying of internal and approach roads. The ₹67.62-crore infrastructure package, supported by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), includes the construction of new roads, stormwater drains, utility ducts, and street lighting, along with added features such as bus shelters, horticulture, and a mix of solar and conventional lighting as per Indian Roads Congress standards.
With most residential towers nearing completion, the emphasis has now shifted to strengthening road connectivity within the complex. NBCC will coordinate with Delhi Traffic Police to minimise congestion during peak traffic hours. The redevelopment project also includes the development of community amenities such as a school and a clubhouse, further enhancing the urban infrastructure of the area.
