Yogi Launches ₹650 Crore Projects, Textile Park in Hardoi

On April 15, 2025, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched 729 development projects worth ₹650 crore in Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh. At the event, he announced the establishment of a PM Mitra Textile Park near the district border—part of a central government initiative aimed at boosting India’s textile sector.

Originally unveiled in March 2023, the PM MITRA Parks are being developed in seven states—Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra—to promote industrial growth and create large-scale employment.

The CM also emphasized progress in healthcare and education within the region. Hardoi's medical college is now operational, and a new nursing college is in the works, aiming to improve both healthcare services and learning opportunities for residents.
