₹205 Crore Boost: Alembic's Pithampur Manufacturing Hub

Alembic Pharmaceuticals has inaugurated a new formulation manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, as part of its strategic expansion efforts. The facility was established with an investment of approximately ₹205 crore, financed through a combination of internal accruals and borrowings.

The new unit is aimed at supporting business growth and transitioning select third-party manufactured products to in-house production. With its existing formulation plants already operating at optimal capacity, the Pithampur facility is expected to enhance Alembic’s manufacturing bandwidth and drive future expansion.

This investment underscores the company’s focus on boosting operational efficiency, strengthening product availability, and consolidating its production capabilities. It reflects Alembic’s continued commitment to quality, supply chain reliability, and competitiveness in the pharmaceutical sector.
