New Era for Bishalgarh: CM Boosts Infrastructure and Healthcare

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha presided over the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremony for a series of infrastructure and healthcare projects in Bishalgarh, located in the Sepahijala district. The event marks a significant step in the state's ongoing efforts to enhance administrative and healthcare services in rural and semi-urban areas.

Held in a hybrid format, Dr. Saha virtually laid the foundation for several key projects and inaugurated seven new buildings under the Ayushman Arogya initiative, aimed at strengthening the state’s public health infrastructure. As part of the ceremony, Notification of Ayushman Scheme (NOAS) certificates were distributed to Microsapara PHC, Dayarampara Yubarajghat, and Ujan Pathalia Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, officially bringing these centres under the umbrella of Tripura’s Ayushman Bharat program. These facilities will now offer expanded, government-supported health services to the local population.

In his address, Dr. Saha reaffirmed the state government's commitment to holistic development, emphasizing improved road connectivity, administrative efficiency, and inclusive healthcare. “These projects will not only strengthen our administrative framework but also ensure quality healthcare and infrastructure for the people of Sepahijala,” he stated.

The initiative is widely viewed as a pivotal move toward elevating living standards and fostering sustainable development across the district.
