Medicover Hospitals, the Indian arm of the European healthcare and diagnostics multinational Medicover, has announced a major expansion plan involving an investment of ₹400 crore. The initiative aims to add 1,000 new beds and establish two new hospitals by June 2026.
“The growth will primarily focus on setting up two state-of-the-art cancer hospitals—one in Madhapur, Hyderabad, and another in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh,” said P. Harikrishna, Managing Director, Medicover Hospitals India. “With these new facilities and incremental expansions at existing centers, the Group’s total bed capacity will reach 3,000.”
