On February 10, 2026, Minister Sridhar Babu laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects across Hyderabad, aimed at strengthening civic infrastructure and public amenities.
In Kapra’s Galileo Nagar, he initiated works for a sports arena and a graveyard at an estimated cost of ₹22.80 crore. He also inaugurated six additional projects in the area—including stormwater drains, a graveyard, and CC road works—worth ₹19.36 crore.
In Uppal, the Minister laid the foundation for a new school building and an RO water treatment plant, with a combined estimated cost of ₹2.10 crore.
Further, he launched bridge and pipeline works in Lingojiguda valued at ₹11.93 crore, along with development projects in Vanasthalipuram worth ₹6.56 crore. The foundation stone was also laid for the Hasthinapuram Ward-1 Circle Office building, estimated to cost ₹5.95 crore.
At Nalla Cheruvu in Uppal, Minister Babu inspected the ongoing restoration and rejuvenation works being undertaken by HYDRAA. He also launched SNDP works worth ₹34.99 crore and underscored the importance of ensuring comprehensive protection and preservation of the lake.
