Investment activity in garment manufacturing is gathering momentum in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region, with Sahu International Attire announcing plans to establish a ready-made garment manufacturing unit in the area.
According to the Uttar Pradesh Department of Information and Public Relations, the proposed project will involve an investment of around ₹70 crore.
Earlier, Sabs Exports International had also committed more than ₹60 crore to set up a garment manufacturing facility in the notified YEIDA region. The unit will focus on design-led production of premium smart-casual knitted garments, primarily targeting menswear along with selected womenswear categories.
The developments are aligned with Government of Uttar Pradesh’s broader strategy to strengthen the textile and apparel manufacturing ecosystem in the region. As part of this push, a 150-acre Textile Park is being developed in Sector 29 with planned investments exceeding ₹8,360 crore. The project is expected to accommodate nearly 100 export-oriented units under a cluster-based industrial model.
The upcoming textile park will provide shared infrastructure and common services aimed at improving operational efficiency. It will also include a Common Facility Centre equipped with design, training, testing and quality control facilities.
Officials said the park’s strategic location along the Yamuna Expressway and its proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport are expected to enhance logistics efficiency and support the growth of the garment manufacturing sector in the region.
