Boosting Dighi Port: New 7 MLD CETP & STP Tender Open for Bids

Maharashtra Industrial Township has floated a tender for the commissioning of a seven million litres per day (MLD) common effluent treatment plant (CETP) at the Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA).

Executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis, the contract also includes the design and construction of a 0.5 MLD package sewage treatment plant (STP), alongside a four-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period. The selected contractor will be responsible for end-to-end project execution—covering design, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and trial operations.

The EPC phase must be completed within 18 months from agreement signing, inclusive of commissioning and trial runs. Following completion, the contractor will manage O&M for four years, inclusive of the defect liability period (DLP).

The deadline for bid submission is August 14, 2026.
