In a major push for statewide development, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved ₹495 crore for various infrastructure, urban development, and public welfare projects. The financial sanctions prioritize road connectivity across districts like Narendra Nagar, Laksar, Sitarganj, and Pithoragarh. Notably, ₹43.87 crore has been earmarked for power infrastructure ahead of the Kumbh Mela 2027, with a first installment of ₹17.55 crore already released. Additional urban highlights include a ₹38.58 crore multi-level parking lot in Ramnagar, a ₹3.05 crore adventure park in Champawat, and funding for local government bodies and administrative hubs like the Dehradun RTO.
