The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has achieved a significant engineering milestone on the Blue Line by installing a 58-metre steel span over NH-9 and the Delhi-Meerut Expressway near Noida Electronic City station. Launched from the Indirapuram side at a height of 14 metres, the span was maneuvered beneath a high-tension power line without halting highway traffic—a first for a DMRC project over an active expressway. The structure is part of a new train reversal facility, which will also feature a second 73-metre span set for installation later this year before track laying and electrification begin.
