Big Win for Delhi Infra: ₹1,647 Cr Approved for 28 Mega Projects

The Centre has approved 28 capital projects worth ₹1,647 crore for Delhi under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the funds will accelerate major infrastructure works, including the Barapullah Phase-3 elevated corridor, Delhi Metro initiatives, the Karawal Nagar flyover, and DTC depot EV charging stations. Additionally, Delhi received a ₹756 crore incentive for boosting its own capital expenditure. The Transport Department and PWD will execute the projects, which aim to significantly enhance city infrastructure and public facilities.
