YEIDA Gets a ₹522 Cr. 'Spark': Minda Corp. Lands 23 Acres

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has allotted a 23-acre industrial plot in Sector 10 to Minda Corporation for setting up a manufacturing unit dedicated to wiring harnesses and connection systems.

Minda Corporation plans to invest ₹522 crore in the new facility, which will have an annual production capacity of 48 lakh units and is expected to create substantial employment opportunities in the region. The project falls under the Uttar Pradesh Investment Promotion Policy, with incentives granted in recognition of Minda's association with a Fortune 500 group. YEIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh formally handed over the allotment letter to Minda Corporation Executive Director Akash Minda. The project is anticipated to drive industrial growth and boost local employment.

Minda, the flagship company of the Spark Minda Group, currently operates 27 manufacturing units globally. Additionally, Polynomous Industries will invest ₹75 crore in a 10,000 sq. m plot to produce advanced polymer compounds, generating employment for 500–600 people.
