Tri-City Expansion Pushes UltraTech Past 200 MTPA Mark.

UltraTech Cement, the flagship cement arm of the Aditya Birla Group, has crossed a major milestone by surpassing 200 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of installed cement capacity in India.

The milestone follows the commissioning of three new grinding units in Shahjahanpur, Patratu, and Visakhapatnam, adding a combined capacity of 8.7 MTPA.

With this expansion, UltraTech’s domestic capacity has reached 200.1 MTPA, while its global capacity—including operations in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Sri Lanka—has increased to 205.5 MTPA.

This achievement reinforces UltraTech Cement’s position as the world’s largest cement producer outside China, highlighting its continued scale and leadership in the global cement industry.
