The Future of Alloys: HZL & CMR Green Tech Partner in Rajasthan

Hindustan Zinc Ltd, the world’s largest integrated zinc producer and one of the top five silver producers globally, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CMR Green Technologies Ltd to establish a manufacturing facility at Zinc Park in Rajasthan.

The agreement marks the second major partnership for the proposed Zinc Park, following an earlier MoU with Tripura Group. The park is being developed as India’s first integrated ecosystem focused on zinc-based industrial applications, the company said in a statement.

Under the collaboration, CMR Green Technologies—one of India’s largest non-ferrous metal recycling companies and among the largest globally—will manufacture high-quality, low-emission zinc alloys at the facility.

These alloys are widely used in industries such as automotive, infrastructure, die-casting, and consumer goods. The partnership is expected to strengthen the supply chain for sustainable zinc-based materials in India.
