The Noida Authority is launching Phase 1 land acquisition for the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (New Noida) this August. Ground surveys will cover 37 initial villages—13 in Gautam Buddh Nagar and 24 in Bulandshahr—to verify ownership, land records, and usage. Additional revenue officers are being deployed to kickstart the process within 10 days.
Spanning 209 sq. km, New Noida is a master-planned smart city and industrial hub designed to ease pressure on existing Noida while connecting directly to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and Western Dedicated Freight Corridor. Approximately 40% of the land is dedicated to industry. The project will be rolled out across four phases through 2041, with the initial 3,165-hectare phase scheduled for completion by 2027.
