Mission Mode: Tamil Nadu Revitalizes Stalled Industrial Parks

The Tamil Nadu government has launched its SIPCOT Revival Mission to convert underutilized industrial parks into active manufacturing hubs. Spearheaded by Industries Minister S Keerthana, the initiative targets infrastructure and administrative bottlenecks preventing allotted plots from becoming operational. Pilot efforts are underway at the Manapparai SIPCOT Industrial Park in Tiruchi—where only 4 out of 32 allotted factories are currently functional—using time-bound interventions and direct investor engagement to accelerate job creation and industrial growth.
