AP Greenlights ₹1,200 Cr Berry Alloys Project in Vizianagaram

Berry Alloys has secured 93.4 acres of land at the Bobbili Growth Centre in Vizianagaram from the Andhra Pradesh government to establish a ₹1,200 crore integrated manganese and steel materials complex. Approved via the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) at a concessional rate of ₹77.2 lakh per acre, the contiguous site will support a project expected to create 813 direct jobs. This expansion by the established ferro-alloy manufacturer directly aligns with India's National Steel Policy target of a 300 million-tonne annual capacity by 2030, reinforcing the state's industrial footprint and the global steel value chain.
