The Karnataka government has approved 69 projects worth ₹3,500.86 crore during its 152nd state-level monitoring committee meeting.
Among the major approvals, Jyoti CNC Automation will invest ₹285 crore in a machine tool center, creating 3,394 jobs. Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd is set to invest ₹250 crore in soap and detergent manufacturing, while Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages will allocate ₹249 crore for beverage production.
The approvals include:
12 large-scale projects (over ₹50 crore each), totaling ₹2,311.88 crore and expected to generate 18,972 jobs.
55 mid-sized projects (₹15 crore – ₹50 crore), amounting to ₹1,148.98 crore, creating 5,832 employment opportunities.
2 smaller projects, collectively worth ₹40 crore, employing 150 people.
Minister for Large, Medium Industries, and Infrastructure Development, M. B. Patil, reaffirmed the government's commitment to fostering industrial investment and economic growth.
