Havells Strengthens Manufacturing with Alwar Plant Expansion

Havells India is set to expand its cable manufacturing operations at its Alwar facility in Rajasthan, following the allotment of 1,58,200 sq. mtrs. of additional land by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO).

The newly allotted land, located adjacent to Havells’ existing plant, will enable the company to significantly scale up production capacity in response to rising demand in the cables segment. This expansion aligns with Havells’ long-term growth strategy, as first disclosed in May 2025, to strengthen its capabilities in cable manufacturing.

The expanded facility will support:

Installation of advanced production lines, Enhanced operational efficiency

Increased capacity to meet infrastructure and real estate-driven demand for electrical cables

This move will further reinforce Alwar’s position as a key manufacturing hub within Havells’ national production network and strengthen the company’s leadership in the industrial and consumer electrical goods market.
