Vivanta Takes Flight: IHCL Lands New Hotel at Bhogapuram Airport

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new Vivanta hotel at Bhogapuram International Airport in Andhra Pradesh, marking a greenfield development in an emerging aviation and hospitality hub.

Located near the upcoming airport in Vizianagaram district, the 165-key Vivanta Bhogapuram International Airport hotel will be positioned adjacent to the terminal, ensuring convenient access for transit passengers, business travellers, and MICE demand. The property will feature an all-day dining restaurant, bar, deli, fitness centre, swimming pool, and over 4,000 sq ft of banqueting space for corporate and social events.

The development aligns with ongoing infrastructure growth and government-led tourism initiatives across the Visakhapatnam–Bheemili–Bhogapuram corridor, which is expected to boost tourism and business activity in the region.

With this addition, IHCL expands its footprint in Andhra Pradesh to nine hotels, including four under development, further strengthening its presence in high-growth markets.
