Naranja's Green Leap: Ethanol Production from Sugarcane Juice in Maharashtra

Naranja Sahakari Sakkare Karkhane Niyamit, a prominent sugar cooperative in Maharashtra, is embarking on a significant venture with the establishment of a new ethanol unit in Immampur, Ahmednagar. This ambitious project, valued at 104 crores, aims to be a game-changer in the region's energy landscape by producing ethanol from sugarcane juice. As on January, 2024. Project has gotten approvals. All approvals were granted. By March 2024, project construction will begin.
