SEPC Wins Ajmer Rail Doubling: ₹270 Crore Subcontract.

SEPC has secured a subcontract valued at Rs 269.69 crore for the Ajmer–Chanderiya railway line doubling project under the Ajmer Division of the North Western Railway (NWR).

The subcontract has been awarded by the VPRPL–SBEL Joint Venture, with SEPC entrusted with executing the project works. The scope includes earthwork for embankment formation, cutting, and blanketing, as well as the construction of major and minor bridges, road under bridges (RUBs), foot over bridges, and other key civil structures. It also covers the construction of station buildings, platform works, passenger shelters, staff quarters, and permanent way works, including ballast supply.

The project forms part of a broader initiative to strengthen railway infrastructure and improve connectivity between Ajmer and Chanderiya, and will be executed in accordance with guidelines set by the North Western Railway.
