Oriental Foundry Bags ₹60 Crore Indian Railways Order

Oriental Foundry Private Limited (OFPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd., has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Ministry of Railways for the manufacture and supply of Constant Side Bearers (CCSB) for broad gauge bogie wagons. The contract is valued at approximately ₹60 crore.

OFPL has submitted the requisite bank guarantee, meeting key conditions outlined in the LoA. The formal work order is expected to follow shortly from the railway authorities.

This order further strengthens Oriental Rail Infrastructure’s role as a key supplier to Indian Railways and is expected to positively impact the company’s financial performance.
