Metro Line 5 Gets ₹157 Crore Boost for Six New Stations

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has awarded a contract valued at ₹157.47 crore to the NACPL-Mansi-UCC Consortium for architectural finishing works on six elevated stations along the Thane–Kalyan–Bhiwandi Metro Line 5 of the Mumbai Metro Rail Project.

The scope of work includes the design, supply, fabrication, and erection of pre-engineered structural steel buildings, including entry and exit structures, as well as comprehensive internal and external architectural finishing. The contract also covers interior fit-outs for six elevated stations: Balkum, Kasheli, Kalher, Purna, Anjurphata, and Dhamankar Naka.

The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) serves as the official notice to proceed, with a stipulated completion timeline of 13 months.
